Explore the features and tools contained in the Premmier+2 Embroidery Extra software. Two hands-on exercises each month will take you through how to customize and edit existing designs, including adding Lettering, Borders, Frames, etc. Learn how to use the various Wizards in the software - ExpressDesign, Quilt, Monogram, Project In the Hoop, and SplitDesign ? and save them in the format to stitch out in your embroidery machine. A laptop computer (with the software installed) and a mouse are all you need!

This machine quilting system designed by Amelie Scott is amazingly easy and virtually fool-proof! You will use the designs from the CD in her book to stitch out a design of your choice. This is a hands-on class, so you will need to bring your embroidery machine and arm to the class. Supply List available, some prep work required.

Do you have lots of quilt tops done, but afraid to quilt them yourself? Learn how to use the quilting designs already built into your embroidery machine, as well as ones you have purchased. We will discuss proper batting, thread, needles, machine set-up, hooping, etc. to give you beautiful results! This is a lecture-demo class and you will see lots of examples of quilts that have been quilted on Lorraine?s Pfaff and Brother embroidery machines.

Using the built-in Border designs in the Brother Luminaire XP1, you can stitch beautiful borders, perfectly sized and aligned on your quilt top. This will be a lecture-demo class, with lots of examples. Lorraine will demonstrate the process on Castle?s demo machine, so that you will be able to go home and stitch on your own quilts.

In this class you will learn how to scan a printed pattern into your scan n cut, take a PDF pattern and convert it into a SVG file, and send it to your machine.

In this class, we will we making pajama bottoms because everybody loves them. They are basic, fairly quick to make and comfy. Most patterns have multiple sizes so you can customize your pants to fit you. We will learn to take measurements and adjust to fit. We will be tracing out the size that you need, and that will keep your master pattern intact.

In a past class, some students opted to make a pajama top to complement the pajama bottoms they made in the Beginner?s Sewing class. I will offer that option in this class as well. Or, you can make the blouse. You will learn to attach a collar, put in a placket for the buttons, darts. The pattern will be traced so that you can get the best fit for YOU, and then you still have your master pattern if you want to make one for someone else.

It is so much more comfortable from what you can buy in the store. And it can come in whatever colours you choose - not just white, gray, black, we will be making a slip, camisole, and half slip.
